Great for the price.
Just received this complete lower for my wife's build and upon initial inspection it's well made and didn't see any flaws from manufacturing. The trigger is gritty but I believe it will smooth out with use or you can swap it out with a trigger of your preference. I did swap out the grip and buttstock and upon removing the grip I did notice something different. The rear take down pin's spring and detent shared the same shelf that the selector lever's spring and detent does. In my honest opinion this location is much more efficient versus having it held in place by the end plate. Whoever thought of this idea give them a raise. Another nice feature is the magwell is slightly larger than you typical milspec lower.
The only con I noticed would only irritate AR purists and that is the castle nut was not staked. Luckily I'm not a purists and if you can't stake a castle nut you really need to quit shooting ARs or get over it.
I couldn't give this 5 star simply because I don't have another billet lower to compare it too. Regarldess, good work Combat Armory for bringing this lower to market. -
