For the price this is a great lower, wel machined, well painted, and very comfortable. They innovated it a bit and made it slightly custom, which looks wonderful, but does have some issues. Hense why I give this 4 stars. The take down pins are not in standard places, well one is, the front is designed like the rear and takes a second to realize, additionally the magwell is slightly larger than standard so my magwell mag funnels didn't fit.
Now that I'm through the cons. Love the oversize trigger guard, this lower has super clean and sharp corners, well machined and well painted. All my parts fit perfectly. I think the logo on the side may look good paint filled but currently isn't my favorite, but someone may enjoy that more than myself. My local range does 0 charge transfers so this was 45 shipped for me. There is no way I will find this quality for this price, buy these up. Even if you aren't building one currently, get 2 or 3 and throw them in a closet. When you want to build, this is the best affordable lower on the Markey. -

The best (and lowest cost) receiver I have ever bought. I used a PSA lower parts kit and everything fit perfectly- that's to be expected these days; the surprise was the rear retaining pin screw had the spring coming up vertically from the pistol grip. I think this is an improvement in design and easily allows for a folding stock. There is also a threaded hole above the pistol grip to allow for a tensioning screw (I'm still looking for one; Anderson mfg type doesn't fit) the trigger guard has a sculpted modern look that is very functional. There's no gap to blister your finger when a pistol grip is attached (MOE fits perfectly). The generous size allows for a gloved fat finger to access the trigger. I think this is also a design improvement. When I was training in the arctic with the marines; we never swung the factory trigger guard open. We had a hole in our mitten for a gloved trigger finger. Field gloves are nice to use in almost every tactical situation, and this is the trigger guard you want. I highly recommend these.
