1/2x28 thread protector
These are inexpensive, nicely made and neatly knurled. They are smaller in outside diameter than others i have gotten from other places. They thread on smoothly and nice. I place a o ring on the barrel to snug it against.

G19 threaded barrel protector.
Goes on smooth, doesn't cross thread at all. It did fall off once but that was my fault, just make sure it's tight and you're good to go.

Excellent threaded barrels and thread protectors.
Combat Armory makes excellent products. So far, I've bought 3 threaded 9mm barrels and three thread protectors. The craftsmanship is excellent as are the materials used to produce the barrels and thread protectors. And the price is the absolute best I've seen for both. I highly recommend Combat Armory products and especially their 9mm threaded barrels and thread protectors!

This is a high quality thread protector. The construction is sturdy and made from quality steel. The finish is perfect and it screws onto the barrel nice and snug. A little bit of blue loctite helps to keep it in place, but don't overdo it.
