Function over form
I bought this buffer tube/stock kit to complete a budget lower. For the $29 I spent, I'm happy. It has some rough edges but it went together perfectly on my Anderson lower with UnbrandedAR LPK. This is the lowest price for an m4 style stock kit that I found.
The stock that is included is a basic m4 style. It is a bit rougher than Magpul or other fancier stock manufacturers. That wasn't a big deal to me, it's what I expected, but it's something to note.
I function checked the completed lower using a known good upper and it worked perfectly. I have not yet fired live ammo through it, but I expect it will cycle properly when I do. The buffer spring and buffer I received are proper spec for an AR15 carbine tube.
Shipping did take a bit longer than expected (about 12 days from order to my door). That wasn't a huge deal to me since I am just slowly piecing together a budget build. -
